As I look at these pictures, my heart is full. It is full of so many blessings in my life. It has been a good year. Sure, there have been challenges and hard times, but there have been so many good things too. Looking at these pictures throughout the year, has really made me smile and think of all the good times! We know that so many friends and family have really struggled this year due to the economy and health issues. Our prayers have always been with you all. I can only hope that 2011 is a great year for everyone. I really think it will be!
Happy New Year everyone!

Family Time On New Years Eve!

For New Years Eve Day we went bowling. We were going to go sledding, but when we woke up it was 27 degrees. Yep, 27 degrees and windy. So if it is that cold in the valley, it is very cold in the mountains. We decided not to go sledding. Call us wimps if you want, but that is how it is! We don't mind cold, but 27 degrees, is too cold for us. Bowling was a good warm activity! We had a good time bowling. It was a lot of fun.
Aubrey was so funny. We had to remind her every time she bowled that bowling balls don't bounce!
I didn't get a picture of it, but Ian did a great move. So great, the ball almost went into the other lane! During this maneuver Ian almost did a split! It was awesome!

Ian got a strike!

We had to remind Aubrey of the rules. Especially the one about abusive language!
I won the first game!!!! No, Austin didn't bowl a perfect game. He knows how to manipulate the computer!

Christmas Day!

For the first time ever, we slept in on Christmas morning! It was amazing! When we woke up we opened our presents and played all day. We had a huge turkey dinner! Oh my, we are stuffed. Then we went to our friends house to enjoy some treats there and spend some time with friends. It was an awesome Christmas.
I don't think Aubrey has taken off this hat that Austin has given her since she got it!

Don got his "old man scriptures"!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for Rock Band 3!
Our new obsession is Just Dance 2! Dang, it is a workout. We totally love it! I thought this would be the one game I could beat Don at, but no! Don beats us all!

Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve we put all the presents to each other and from grandparents under the tree. It is an exciting time. Then we let the kids open their gifts to each other. They draw names on Thanksgiving. It is fun to watch the kids and see how excited they are to buy the gifts for each other and then give the gifts to their siblings! They really enjoy it. You can tell from the pictures who got gifts for each other!

Then we went ice skating with our friends. We had so much fun. The kids loved it and declared that this was a new tradition for Christmas Eve. I think Don and I agree! Ian was the most persistant! He skated the whole time. Even if he fell, he just got back up and skated.

Aubrey and her friends!

After we got home, we had homemade clam chowder and had family home evening. It was a great day. We all had so much fun! Before we went to bed we had to play Killer Bunnies! Then it was off to bed before Santa came!
