Last Lacrosse Game!

The last game was here.  They ended on an awesome note.  They killed the other team.  Unfortunately they will not be going to the playoffs.  I think if they could go back and play the teams they lost to, they would do a lot better.  Ian made one goal. They tried to get other kids to make goals and the coach told them to let up on the other team.  I think it was good.

Ian and Eric have really learned to work together this year.  They did great making goals.  It has been nice to see this kind of teamwork develop.

So as they were playing a member of the other team started to throw up.  It was pretty bad.  Ian had to tell the ref.  The game stopped for quite a bit.
Then the boys had to take a knee.  It was so gross, Ian and Eric turned away.  They were afraid they were going to puke too.

I love these pictures at the end of the game.  They were awesome.

Lacrosse Update

Another lacrosse game down and they won.  Ian made one goal.  He is playing hard for sure!  I can't believe how much he improved this year.  I am a proud momma!

Happy Birthday Zach!

Zach turned 25 yesterday.  Hard to believe I have a 25 year old.  He is still living up at BYU-Idaho, finishing his degree.  He and his wife have a very nice apartment and even though they don't ever want to admit it, they have a good life in Rexburg.  It is hard having adult children.  They are on their own, and no matter how you raised them, they make their own choices. He had a good birthday.  He had a quiet day and didn't say too much about it.  He did do his interview with me.

1.  Tell about a family tradition at Christmas.
1. Watching the NORAD Santa Tracker.
2.  Did you go camping as a child? Did you enjoy it? What was your favorite memory of camping?
2. We did go camping. I enjoyed it most of the time. My favorite memory is convincing Ian that he was going to get eaten by bears.
3.  Did you have a favorite toy as a child?  Did it have a name?
3. I don't know if I had one favorite toy, but anything Star Wars I loved.
4.  Who was your favorite teacher and why?
4. I really liked my high school physics teacher Mr. Moore. He made physics really interesting and exciting.
5.  Did you have a special stuffed animal? Describe him or her.
5. I had a favorite pillow. I was a really exciting child.
6.  If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
Iceland probably. I want to live on the ocean but somewhere where it feels like I can go an explore. Iceland sounds like that place.

Easter!

During spring break I feel like I got nothing done.  I did prepare for Easter.  I had some things to make for my Young Women.

We spent some time doing fun things before Easter.  We went and played laser tag.  That was so fun.  Sometimes I wish it would just be us.  We would love that!
Don and I also went to the temple with Ian.  What a perfect place to focus on Christ for Easter.

Then Easter morning came.  Ian got a Buffalo Bills vintage hoodie, lacrosse balls, and the new Star Wars movie.
Austin and Bree got candy!
I even got a pretty bracelet.

Then we went out to get the Easter Eggs.  Ian worked hard, because he wanted the money in the eggs.  Austin wasn't too into it.

They look so happy!  Ha, Ha!

We went to church and took some pictures and then had dinner.  It was a nice Easter.
