I am a little behind. The Super Bowl was last week! What could I do? Two weeks ago I got to speak with my friend Cami at a Morning Side. It is for the kids who attend early morning seminary. We spoke on our trials and how we get through them. Cami had a very rare cancer in her sinuses and I still have cancer. I hope the kids got something out of it. I just wanted to be their cheerleader and acknowledge that teenagers go through some tough stuff, but we can get through it. It made me feel good to hear that some girls did not want to go the morning side, but decided to go when they heard I was speaking. I just hope that I can teach people that it is through my Savior Jesus Christ that I can get through this!
Our youth had an awesome activity. They had an Iron Chef activity making waffles. It was a blast and the kids loved it!
I told you we had the Super Bowl. It was crazy. The Patriots won in the final seconds. The half-time show was amazing. Lady Gaga killed it. The commercials were too serious. What has happened to our country? We need to have some laughs! I spend most of the game snuggling with Ian. Good thing he stills likes to snuggle with his momma!
Sometimes my special education students like me!
I made these yummy cookies for Dance Fusion and went to watch them in a competition. I facetimed Aubrey during it so she could watch it too. Oh, it was so sad. I miss it. The team has changed so much. It was kind of sad to see.
I was glad I got to go and support my favorite Dance Fusion dancer, Rachel. I got to see her solo. Oh how I love this girl! She still lets me be a part of her life!
Ian was excited to get his name on the Eagle Plaque at church. He has always wanted to be on the same plaque with his brothers and he did it!
Getting ready for Valentine's Day. I made vegan sugar cookies for Zach and Hailey.
I also made cute Valentine's for my young women at church. Don't be impressed, I love Pinterest!
Two quotes for Sunday!
