Happy Easter!

Easter was quiet as always.  We had just come home from vacation, so it was time for us to rest.  The kids loved everything in their baskets.  I had to laugh at Zach's basket.  It was all missionary stuff.
Then we had to have our family Easter Egg hunt.  That is always interesting.  There was no complaining about the cold.  Oh wait, Zach did complain as he does every year that the eggs were hid in the rocks!
Everyone looked great for Easter.  This is as serious as I can get of them!

Easter Gardens!

You know that we always love the gardens.  We were so excited to learn that the butterflies were out, so we headed down to see the spring flowers and butterflies.  There is nothing like the gardens.  They are so pretty and the butterflies are beautiful!

Getting Ready For Easter!

After we got home we had to get ready for Easter.  That means, dying eggs.  We love to do that.

La Jolla!

I love San Diego.  It is so nice there!
This is a picture of Zachery outside our hotel room!  See, I love it here.
So pretty here.  It was great to get up and go running along the shore.
Zach made some new friends.
Ian wanted a black Nacho Libre mask.  Yes, I agreed to it.  Crazy right?  He loves it!
My favorite city in California is La Jolla.  It is wonderful there.  I could walk and relax along the shore all day!  I love seeing the sea lions.
When we were at Sea World Ian asked me what tide pools were.  I explained to him what they were, but he really understood when he went to La Jolla.  He loved exploring the tide pools.  There was so much to see.  Can you see the crab?

The Beach!

After we went to Sea World we headed to the beach.  Oh the beach!  I love it.  Ian loved building sandcastles.
Don, Ian and Aubrey loved playing in the waves.  The water was a little too cold for getting all the way in!  Aubrey and Ian didn't mind it!
My little dancer loves the beach!  She has decided that she has to live close to the beach or on the shore!
My older boys just enjoyed napping and reading on the beach.  What bums!
