Oh my, I am so far behind! In December my life was consumed with the wedding and the holidays. It was insane. Then, I found out I needed to start chemo again. Bummer, I know! Well, what do you do? I have to do it. The good news is that I am not really sick from it. Then I got sick. Sick like you wouldn't believe. Honestly, I don't know if it has anything to do with cancer or I had a bad flu. Like I couldn't even cook Christmas dinner and I love to do that. I humbled myself and my children cooked the most wonderful Christmas dinner. Then after the wedding, I found out I have a new calling. Oh heavens, I am the new Young Women's president. So January has been spent getting healthy and getting organized! It has been insane. I missed most of January. But, I am coming back and feeling better. It is a long slow process, but I am getting there.
I don't know if I even posted that my daughter-in-law Hailey graduated from BYU-Idaho. She was so excited to walk in graduation. (I am being sarcastic!) She is excited to be done with school.
After the wedding Don flew to New Orleans with his Dad to watch the Sugar Bowl. Alabama was playing in the playoffs. It was an awesome game and Alabama won. It was also a wonderful experience for Don to be with his father. That made it even more special.
Then Alabama played for the national championship. Oh my, it was a crazy game won in overtime. Alabama came out on top! I had a happy family! Poor Ian missed most of it because he had to go to lacrosse practice, but he was there for the end!
This was my face watching the game!
Before college started again, we went bowling with the kids. It was fun to spend time with Aubrey and Christian before they headed back to school. They went to live with Don's parents and Aubrey tried out again for Dance Alliance. Once again she made it and will be touring the Southern States this year.
Finally I felt better and got back to running. I was so happy. Don't tell my doctor!
The biggest news was that Ian got his braces off. He is totally happy about that!
